The Government of the Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Rural Roads Program, and intends to use part of the funds for the construction and improvement of the USU14N Rural Road, in the section that connects the Usulután Bypass with the Santa Elena district, Department of Usulután. Phase II.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport invites eligible bidders to participate in the International Public Tender (IPL) for the execution of the project, whose estimated construction period is 365 calendar days.
Bidders must demonstrate financial capacity through access to liquidity or financing lines sufficient to cover an estimated cash flow of USD 2,000,000, as well as submit audited financial statements for the last five years. Likewise, they must prove average annual turnover in construction equivalent to USD 4,984,760 and general experience as contractors in the last five years.
Specific experience is required demonstrable through at least two contracts satisfactorily completed in the same period, including minimum cumulative execution in road excavation (12,500 m³), placement of base or subbase (6,800 m³) and application of asphalt mixture (2,300 m³). In addition, the availability of key personnel and construction equipment must be guaranteed as established in the Request for Proposals.
