Description
The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program to Support the Recovery and Expansion of the Tourism Sector and will allocate part of these funds to the acquisition of goods and works.
The goods and works consist of the supply and installation of tourist signs type fences in various locations nationwide, complying with detailed technical specifications in terms of graphic designs, materials, colors and exact positions.
The Ministry of Tourism invites eligible bidders to submit bids in a sealed envelope through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB (current edition of the loan agreement). The tender is open to all bidders from eligible countries according to the documents.
No margin of preference will be applied to national contractors or APCAs. The process includes Best Final Offer (M.O.F.) followed by negotiation. Key qualification requirements:
Letter of commitment to faithful compliance with the technical specifications.
Financial capacity: Audited financial statements (2020-2024, except 2020 if applicable) with liquidity ratio ≥1 and average annual turnover ≥ total value of the offering.
Experience: At least 2 letters of reference with contracts or purchase orders (from government or private, national/international institutions) for the supply and installation of similar fences in the last 10 years, adding at least the total amount offered (completed installations).
