Description
The Government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to partially finance the Drinking Water Systems Improvement Program – Phase I (IDB Loan No. 5760/OC-UR) and intends to use part of the proceeds to make payments under the contract for the construction of water treatment systems for arsenic removal by adsorption in 12 localities in the central and coastal regions south.
The State Sanitary Works Administration (OSE) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the design and construction of the works, under a lump sum single liability contract. The estimated execution period is 730 days.
The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with the Request for Bids (RFP) procedures through National Public Bidding (LPN) established in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB and is open to all bidders from eligible countries.
