Description
General Objective:
The general objective of this operation is to improve incomes and promote sustainable livelihoods in the agriculture and tourism sectors.
Specific Objectives:
- Improve Micro Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) competitiveness.
- Enhance climate resilience.
- Promote environmental sustainability.
Consulting Services to be Performed:
1. Consultancy Services for the Communication Officer and Communication Technical Assistance:
The Communication Officer and Communication Technical Assistance will support the National Climate Change Office in the implementation of communication and public information campaigns. These campaigns will focus on climate and environmental risk awareness, resilient practices, low carbon initiatives, and environmentally sustainable practices in priority sectors such as agriculture and tourism. The goal is to increase awareness and promote responsible behavior among MSMEs and the general public. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
2. Consultancy Services to Design and Implement Communication and Dissemination Strategy for Sustainable and Inclusive Belize:
The objective of this consultancy is to design and implement a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy. This strategy will include virtual and in-person awareness campaigns, as well as traditional media and social media marketing. The aim is to enhance awareness and knowledge about project activities under SAIB-BL-L1041 in the agriculture and tourism sectors. The consultancy will span a period of three and a half (3.5) years intermittently.
