Description
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is executing the mentioned operation. For this operation, the IDB intends to contract consulting services described in this Request for Expressions of Interest. Expressions of interest must be delivered using the IDB Portal for Bank Executed Operations (http://beo-procurement.iadb.org/home) by January 31st of 2024, 5:00 P.M. (Washington D.C. Time).
The objective of this consultancy is to develop a mid- and long-term strategy to address homelessness in the PWHS, as well as promote its implementation through the design of a pilot intervention and a practical handbook. To meet the objectives, the scope of this consultancy includes:
• Conduct a review of the socioeconomic, legal, and governance context, with an emphasis on the institutional framework to identify current needs and opportunities for the development of a mid-and long term on homelessness.
• The identification and review of international best practices.
• The design of the strategy for the prevention and social inclusion of the homeless in the PWHS.
• The design of a pilot intervention and the testing of key actions.
• The preparation of the content for the strategy handbook.
• The development of interviews, surveys, or workshops for the participation of public, private, and social organizations at the different stages of the consultancy.
This will be executed in the Q2-Q4 of 2024.
