Description
Description of Services: looking for a startup/company that provides its services in Smart Waste Technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean and is willing to design and implement a pilot project to solve the challenge of the Consorcio Intermunicipal del Valle Medio de Itajaí - CIMVI (Brazil). The consortium began its activities 25 years ago. It currently works with 14 municipalities, serving a population of approximately 290,000 inhabitants and managing approximately 6,000 tons of waste per month. CIMVI is located in the Girassol Park, which is a territory of transformation through environmental education and the recovery of municipal solid waste. The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is executing the above-mentioned operation. For this operation, the IDB intends to contract consulting services described in this Request for Expressions of Interest. Expressions of interest must be delivered using the IDB Portal for Bank Executed Operations (http://beo-procurement.iadb.org/home) by December 1, 2023, by 5:00 P.M. (Washington D.C. Time).
