The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) intends to contract consulting services for the development of a study to survey the perception of knowledge about mining activity in university students
The general objective is to develop a study to survey the perception of knowledge about the mining activity in university students to find out about the existence of potential cognitive biases that operate in the construction of their perception of knowledge about the activity.
In this way, there will be statistical evidence regarding the construction of cognitive biases linked to mining activity within the framework of a sample with a profile characterized by being university students. The results will allow us to have data for the characterization of potential cognitive biases and to know how the information that the surveyed sample has in the construction of their opinion about the sector in terms of sustainability and development operates.
