Description
The IDB intends to contract services to carry out a diagnosis and survey of information on social issues in Venezuela.
The prolonged and deep economic crisis in Venezuela is seriously impacting the living conditions of its population. One of the main shortcomings for the design of public policies in Venezuela is the lack of reliable information that allows the generation and monitoring of social indicators.
Consulting services include:
- Generate data and information on social conditions in Venezuela that reflect the constant changes in households and make available to those responsible for social policies the necessary evidence for the design of these policies.
- Use innovative methodologies for data collection.
- At the end of this consultancy, it is expected to obtain: o A data set at the individual and household level comparable to the Living Conditions Survey (ENCOVI) of Venezuela. o The metadata that contains all the information on the data collection methodology, data sheet and data dictionary.
The consultancy activities must be carried out in a period of 4 months.
