Description
The IDB intends to hire Consulting Services to Support the Development of a Roadmap and the national strategy for the production and use of green hydrogen in Bolivia
The scope of the services includes:
- The elaboration of a diagnosis that includes the context, the identification of the production potential, the demand, and the necessary actions for the development of Green Hydrogen (H2V) at the level of the entire productive complex , as well as develop the bases of the national strategy for the development of H2V in Bolivia and a roadmap;
- Identification, characterization, and prioritization of a portfolio of projects;
- A regulatory proposal for the promotion, development, and regulation of H2V; (iv) an analysis of local value chains for H2V development, including mapping of actors, identification of barriers and opportunities; and
- A study for the implementation of an electrolysis plant that can be integrated with a power generation plant with renewable energy, including a proposal for a base document for the turnkey contracting of the electrolysis plant.
