Description
A portion of the Loan resources will be used to upgrade approximately 12.5 kilometers of Natural Gas (NG) infrastructure to ensure NG service continuity along the different sections of roads.
The Consulting Firm will be required to provide the following services at minimum:
i. The effective Project Management and supervision of the Infrastructural works, applying best engineering and professionalstandards/practices to ensure quality and avert cost overruns;
ii. Stakeholder Consultations and recommendations for the management of stakeholder interests and communication throughout the project;
iii. The submission of various reports such as: Indexed, Inception, Monthly Progress, Weekly Site, Environmental and SocialCompliance, etc.;
iv. An assessment of the physical condition of all worksites post-construction; v. The preparation of Legal Base Plans (As-built drawings) for all of the replacement works to be carried out, including geo-referencing of the new infrastructure (mains, fittings and appurtenances; and vi. Prepare and submit preliminary and construction detail drawings or sketches according to the requirements and the specifications provided by the Technical Department of the NPC. These drawings are to work in tandem with specifications used to guide the installation or placing of the pipes.
The tentative duration of this assignment is 15.5 months commencing approximately in September 2021.
