Description
The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Comprehensive Urban Solid Waste Management Program, and it is proposed to use part of the funds for consulting services contracts.
Consulting services include conducting a field study to determine a baseline in the area of comprehensive management of urban solid waste. Once the study is finished, there must be a consolidated final report that includes and develops all the activities carried out throughout the study.
The objective is to survey the different provinces of the Argentine territory (Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Misiones, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Santiago del Estero, Formosa, Chaco, Mendoza, San Luis, La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego), according to their detected demands, and draw up a baseline (in GIRSU matter) for each of the municipalities involved. The different municipal baselines should be integrated, to form a large regional baseline.
