Ravikant Tiwari

Ravikant Tiwari is an International Trade compliance Specialist having work experience of 6+ years in International Trade and Development Industry.

Currently working with ProMéxico as an In-charge of Export Promotion & Investment Projects for India, Sri-Lanka & Bangladesh, he really enjoys the opportunity to share what Mexico business offers to the world especially to South Asia. He works with a wide variety of different businesses across multiple sectors, which provides plenty of opportunities to expand his industry and market knowledge.

He has been instrumental to develop relationship of ProMexico, India with various corporate houses like Reliance Industries, Tata Sons Ltd, Aditya Birla Group, Essar Group, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej etc. Beside that he has been invited as speaker in International Business Conference organized by KJ Somaiya and Global Business Summit organized by AIESEC Mumbai. His contribution for Indo-Mexico trade has also been recognized by Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO), The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) etc.

His educational background, namely bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade (3 Years) as well as Master’s in International Business has provided him with ability to resolve the international trade issues effectively. He has been into advising role and have done many projects for Ministry of Commerce & Industry including ‘WTO Compatibility of existing Export Promotion Measures in India’ and Technical Assistance to African nations’.

While working in GJEPC (as an Asst. Manager, Policy Department) he was nominated as a member of Core group on Diamond & Precious Stones for Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-17) constituted by Ministry of Mines & Planning Commission of India. He was also nominated to Participate in the Kimberley Process (Inter-governmental Organization, which regulates international trade of rough diamonds) Intercessional Meeting held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, from 20-23 June 2011.
