Luis Enrique Fornez Osorio

Currently a BIM Specialist at ACCA Software, Fornez leverages three decades of experience in public and private sectors to drive the adoption of BIM methodology and Digital Twins technology. Since 2023, he has been a key at AECO industry events, including ESRI user conferences, bridging the gap between traditional architecture and advanced digital transformation. An architect from Universidad Central de Venezuela (1992) with a Master’s in Urban Design from Columbia University (1998) and a recognized pioneer in digital methodologies. During his 23-year tenure at his alma mater, he founded the Faculty’s Digital Studio and established the first BIM course in 2015, while also contributing to Venezuela’s national BIM standard (CT03) as part of the BIM Task group at Camara Venezolana de la Construcción, Caracas - Venezuela.
