Cecilia Poratti

With a degree in Translation from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, and a graduate degree in Spanish Linguistics, my 25 years of industry experience include managing production teams, recruiting resources, managing accounts, volunteering with Translated in Argentina and Women in Localization, as well as working as a language lead for an American LSP till I decided to create my own company: Essence Translations. As the CEO, I set strategic goals and objectives, supervise daily activities, monitor performance, and drive business growth. I purposefully guide business operations and employees to achieve organizational goals. In addition to English and Spanish, I am also fluent in Portuguese. Outside of work, I am an avid painter, and chef who love to throw dinner parties with friends. I am a proud member of GALA, ATC, TinA, WeConnect International and Women in Localization.
