Ximena Rozo

Whether I'm creating for digital, product, or aerospace industries, design goes beyond the look. For me, design is a call for transformation. My holistic approach to innovation has one thing in mind: to make a positive, lasting impact on individuals, society, the environment, and beyond. As an industrial designer, digital experience expert, and design strategist, I have 20+ years of experience working in human-centered design (HCD) as well as research and development (R&D). Over the years, I've been awarded 15 U.S. patents and received numerous design distinctions. My designs have been showcased in the U.S., Japan, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Colombia, and Costa Rica, with work experience in the U.S., Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala. Peers, stakeholders, and clients regard me as a solution-focused innovator, a disrupter of the status quo, and a connector of dots and communities who's able to find solutions that solve problems for better futures. In addition to my professional endeavors, I provide guidance to undergraduate and graduate design students at both Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and San Francisco State University. In the past, I've mentored military veterans and spouses in entrepreneurship.
