Alberto Marino is a passionate advocate for inclusive workforce development, with over two decades of experience spanning transit, corporate, and educational sectors. He currently serves as Senior Sourcing Officer at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), where he leads recruitment strategies and forges strategic partnerships to create pathways for historically underrepresented communities—particularly within the transit industry. Beyond his role at WMATA, Alberto is a driving force behind regional economic empowerment. He is the Co-Founder and a Board Member of the Northern Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where he champions Hispanic entrepreneurship and promotes equitable access to business and career opportunities across the region. His commitment to workforce equity has earned him national and regional recognition. In 2025, he received the Diverse in Business Award from the Washington Business Journal, and most recently, on June 25, he was honored with the Outstanding Workforce Champion Award by Employ Prince George’s for his impact on regional talent pipelines and economic mobility.
