Intan Suriya Ramly

Intan Suriya currently serves as Head of International Partnership & Global Events for Serunai Commerce. She was appointed for the position in June 2015. Intan is part of the Serunai’s senior leadership team, with a focus on advancing partnership opportunities for various stakeholders, expand coverage and opportunity to expand the Halal industry. In this role, Intan oversees partnership, corporate communications, government relations roles and external affairs around the world. Apart from her role in Malaysia, she also manages the Serunai Group’s strategic presence in South Africa, India and Indonesia. As a member of the senior leadership team, Intan advises the Group CEO on strategic partnership, communications and stakeholder engagement decisions. Intan joined the Serunai Group from Standard Chartered Global Business, where she was the Corporate Affairs Manager for 7.5 years. She has successful track records in event management, marketing communications, government liaison and media engagement. Some of her notable achievements include organising the inaugural nationwide business ICT competition for the bank, being part of the working committee for Standard Chartered KL Marathon, Liverpool Asia Tour, Standard Chartered EPL Masters and many more.
