Alfredo Vargas S.

Alfredo’s professional experience is mainly focused on investments across multiple sectors, corporate law, finance and management. Giving him a broad capacity to identify opportunities on banking and financial services, retail and consumption, energy, real estate and capital markets. He is experienced on, business development, corporate turnarounds, strategic and financial planning, corporate governance and project management. He has an extensive network across different industries and countries in Latin America. Alfredo is the founder and managing partner of Integra Groupe, an investment firm focused on Latin America and committed to bring economic dynamism to the region. He is also founding partner of Reaction, a global Venture Capital Firm that is creating exponential change through innovations. Prior to founding Integra, he served on multiple leadership roles at Cartera de Inversiones a holding conglomerate with investments in 6 countries in Latin America. His last role was Executive Director responsible for the investment strategy, new ventures and the overseeing 20 portfolio companies, with over 5 million clients and 8,000 employees. Previously, he worked at Permal, a multi-billion asset manager based in NY. He graduated with honors from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela with a Law Degree. He is a Vanderbilt and Vogelstein Scholar from New York University (NYU) where he obtained his Master´s Degree in Corporate Law and Business. He is also an Alumni from Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). He has complemented his working and academic experience on Private Equity and Venture Capital investments with executive training at Harvard Business School. Alfredo was elected as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum (WEF). He sits on the Board of Tracing Public Spaces an NGO focused on empowering kids to transform public spaces. Alfredo is admitted to practice law in Venezuela and New York.
