Cely Giraldes

Hi, I’m Cely Carmo Giraldes, and I created Shield to help you communicate in a different way, connecting partners and coworkers to bring a collaborative and independent vision to the market, looking at your company from the outside in. I love challenges and working with brands that have a purpose. With more than 20 years’ experience in some of Brazil’s top public relations agencies, I have always sustained a vision of communication and marketing which is solidly founded in data, insights and the constantly renewing ways through which people connect to create relationships with meaning. I have a degree in Journalism from the University of São Paulo and an MBA in Business Analytics – Big Date from the Getulio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo. I worked at CDN, Máquina, BCW (former Burson-Marsteller) and CDI and helped them develop their digital business and analytics in Brazil and Latin America. I pioneered the concept of working with influencers in Brazil and in 2007 launched the first RP Digital service for digital communication agencies in the country. In 2012, I created the first communication diagnosis service specialized in the application of Big Data. My clients include many of the largest Brazilian and international companies, including Ford, Intel, HP, Electrolux, Sony, Gol, L’Oréal, Yara, Tereos, Dow, Pfizer, Bayer, Aché, Allergan, Nestlé, McDonald’s, Pepsico, Telefonica and Votorantim.
