Calin Dragoie

Geologist with 20+ years of operations and wellsite geology experience, with work done in Western Canada as well as in international projects such as Cuba and Libya. Throughout the years I supervised many types of wells and projects, from large diameter water wells and multi-well pad heavy oil horizontal wells, shallow vertical gas wells to deep clastic exploratory wells, deviated wells in fractured carbonates, cored and test exploration wells, unconventional gas horizontal underballanced wells, deep horizontal shale gas wells and a variety of new pool and new field wildcat wells. Over the past few years I worked mostly as an operations geologist, managing a growing team of geoscientists, organizing geological supervision on a large variety of projects: unconventional shale exploration programs, year-round heavy oil development projects, multi-personnel coring seasonal projects, remote geo-steering operations and a few overseas projects.
