With a background in real estate and International Brand Management, Benjamin has a vast knowledge of the lodging industry, understanding how to satisfy guests as well as experiencing first-hand the rigours of business travel. After moving from England to Colombia, he formed AptsColombia to fill the void in Bogota’s temporary housing sector, where guests were faced with over-priced hotel accommodation or sub-standard private apartments. Benjamin worked to introduce quality controls, advanced booking technology and a European customer service approach to change this situation and with it the perception of Colombia’s private rental sector.
