Nick Aldridge

Nick has worked in mobile or over 13 years. In 2000 he launched the BBC´s mobile internet site and in 2001 the UK first national cross network SMS interactivity on BBC 1. In 2003 he went on to work for O2 (Telefonica) to work on large scale TV interactivity for programmes such as Pop Idol and Big Brother. In 2004 he co-founded Mobile Interactive Group and worked in the role of Product Director. In this time he grew and led the teams that managed the world´s largest ever text lottery and ticketing event Live 8; most interactive services across major UK networks such as ITV and Channel 5; the UK´s largest SMS aggregator platform; Europe´s largest mobile interactive exhibit in The O2 Arena and a market leading mobile internet content management system. Nick is fluent in both English and Spanish and is currently a Colombian resident, living in Medellin.
