María Laura Gasparini

Tourism professional with over 10 years of work experience in the travel and hospitality sector, in Latin America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Passionate about contributing to the sustainable development of tourism, I have co-created the initiative Echoes of the Journey (www.echoesofthejourney.com) together with my colleague Stefan Lazic, and successfully delivered sustainable tourism projects in 10 latin american countries between 2018 and 2019. I am currently working with two non profit organizations: Planeterra from Canadá and Red Colibrí from México. For Planeterra I monitored the social impact projects the organization supports in Europe. For Red Colibrí which is a newly formed NGO from responsible tour operator Totonal Viajes, I am assisting in the developing of programs and partnerships to grow our impact in Mexican rural communities through tourism.
