Completed Post Graduate degree in London. Worked as Intern at Grey London with British American Tobacco (BAT) account. Returned to Dominican Republic and worked at BBDO. 1997 BAT entered the market. At the behest of my former boss in Grey (London), Grey (Dominican Republic) offered me a job to manage the BAT account. 1999 Recruited by one of my account clients (Chevron Corporation). Joined as Marketing Coordinator for Dominican Republic covering A & SP, PGPA, Sponsorships and Retail Programs execution for fuel and lubricant products and services. Role was later extended to entire Caribbean Region overseeing all Brand Marketing initiatives for 21 markets. 2008 Accepted position as Global Retail Programs Consultant for all Chevron brands: Chevron, Texaco and Caltex. Worked on the Development /Quality Improvement/ Implementation of Global Marketing Programs and Global Sourcing and Purchasing. 2009 in addition to prior role, accepted a role in special projects to support Area Marketing Support under a Regional Coordinator Role for Caribbean, Central America and Andean Region overseeing all marketing staff and activities: Customer Service Center, Assets, Retail, Commercial & Industrial Programs, Advertising & Sales Promotions, Key Accounts, New Business /Growth /Profitability Assessment, Contract Management, Audit & Inventory. 2014 Left the company to become independent when Chevron's assets in the Caribbean were sold. My son had been born and wanted to take some time to work independently in consulting projects. 2017 Ad-hoc Group was born. A boutique firm dedicated to strategic marketing and public relations.
