Joésio Siqueira

Partner and Managing Director Vice President of STCP Engenharia de Projetos Ltda., with over 37 years of experience in the coordination and preparation of projects related to the environment (licensing, legislation, management and environmental audit), forest management (natural and planted forests), silviculture and forest inventory, as well as participating in numerous consulting activities related to the forest and environmental legislation, policies and sectoral programs. Coordinated the preparation of more than 40 management plans for conservation units in Brazil and abroad. Director, during the period 1980 to 1985, of the former Brazilian Forest Development Institute. Worked extensively on environmental projects and sustainable development in the Brazilian Amazon and in neighboring countries (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia), both for the company and international organizations (FAO, World Bank, IDB and others). Retired Professor from the Federal University of Paraná.
Graduated in Forest Engineering from Federal University of Paraná, Brazil; and graduated in Safety Engineering from Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, and specialized in Public Administration, University of São Paulo, Brazil; M.Sc. in Forestry Management from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil; and PhD. in Forest Policy and Environment from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil.
