Tej Nargundkar

Capt. T V Nargundkar is a Master Mariner with 40 years’ experience in the Ports, Shipping & Logistics industry. This includes 10 years command experience on various modern tankers, chemical tankers & bulk carriers on worldwide trade. He was elected as Indian representative on the Intertanko Council and is an acknowledged name amongst the global port and shipping fraternity. In 2017, successfully achieved closure of 30-year Concession with Government of Mozambique for development of a 20 MMTPA bulk terminal in Beira, Mozambique on DBOOT basis attracting an investment of 440 million USD. Prior to this, he was heading the chartering and operations for the shipping business wherein he has secured several long-term time charters, COA (s) with reputed conglomerates like Boasteel, SAIL, Shell, BP, IOC, BPCL, etc. Currently, as CEO of the Africa Ports & Infrastructure business, his key initiatives are focused towards tapping the unlocked potential of the African countries by bringing sustained development though investments in infrastructure not limited to development of Ports & Terminals, integrating Rail & Road logistics and LNG supply chain.
