I am an agricultural economist with expertise in market research, financial analysis, strategic planning for agribusinesses, value chain analysis, and export promotion. I have directed market research for commodities like cocoa, soybeans, sorghum and rice, conducted competitiveness analysis for agricultural value chains in Jamaica, and developed financial analyses and market assessments for transferring innovative agricultural technologies in Africa. I have provided consulting services for improving the marketing links in fruit value chains in Ecuador, as well as directed two cocoa projects for improving the sustainable agricultural practices of smallholder farmers.

My interests are to increase the competitiveness of agribusiness companies and organizations of smallholder farmers through identifying new market opportunities, and fulfilling their potential capital requirements for expansion/growth of their operations.
