Juan Carlos Namis

As an IT Specialist with over 20 years experience with concentration in System and Database Design and Development, I have gained vast experience in this field and developed many projects from start to finish, such as the first CXC program in the country of Belize at St. Catherine’s Academy; developed the first Information Technology program at the University of Belize; developed the first Land Administration System (LIS) for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Belize; developed and managed the Internet Domain Registry in the country of Belize; and developed the first IT Department for International Telecommunication Limited. I currently manage and operate one of the most qualified IT company (eData) in the country of Belize, providing software development and general IT services both locally and regionally. I also represents Belize in the Global Internet Community at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and have represented Belize at ICANN’s international meetings in the following countries: USA, UK, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Rome, Romania, and Canada. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Kutztown University, Pennsylvania, USA, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Adrian College, Michigan, USA and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education from the University College of Belize.
