Como materia prima principal utilizamos el caucho de cámaras de vehículos que se encuentran fuera de uso. Expresar nuestra creatividad a través del reciclaje de caucho es un privilegio, porque sabemos el fatal impacto ambiental que produce este material, que constituye uno de los residuos más problemáticos en el contexto mundial, tanto por el gran volumen que se produce como por su extensa vida. Anualmente se descartan en el mundo más de 1.500 millones de cámaras, que tardan más de 500 años en degradarse. Darle una segunda oportunidad a este tipo de materiales, permite aliviar el impacto sobre el medio ambiente, agregando valor y resolviendo un problema de muy difícil solución, como es su deposición final. En este proceso se genera trabajo para una serie de actores en la cadena productiva, incluyendo artistas plásticos y textiles que intervienen los artículos y tienen así una ventana de exposición de su obra. Como resultado final, obtenemos piezas de diseño creativas y ecológicas.
