Development Of Tourist Facilities In The Monumental Complex Of Convent Of Santo Domingo. Lot 1: Study, design, restoration and equipment for the monumental complex of the Convent of Santo Domingo (Arco Chato); Lot 2: Restoration of the wooden roof of the Chapel of Santo Domingo
The Republic of Panama has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program for the Integral Urban Development of Cities with a Tourist Vocation and will allocate part of these funds to heritage restoration works (2 independent lots).
Lot 1:
Study, integral design, structural restoration and museographic equipment of the Convent of Santo Domingo Monumental Complex, including the iconic Flat Arch.
Estimated execution period: 545 calendar days.
Lot 2:
Specialized restoration of the wooden roof of the Chapel of Santo Domingo.
Estimated execution time: 321 calendar days.
The Tourism Authority of Panama invites eligible bidders to submit bids in a sealed envelope through International Public Bidding (LPI), in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB (current edition).
Open to bidders from eligible countries according to the bidding documents.
Qualification requirements: in accordance with IAO numbers 5.5 a, b, c, d, e and f of the specifications (demonstrated experience in heritage restoration, management of historical monuments and compliance with international conservation standards).
