Since August of 1997, VBR Logística has strived to keep an excellent reputation within the market through high professionalism, hard work, and responsibility and respect for the customer, no matter how big or small. The rapid development of the company allowed for the purchase of a terminal (30 thousand squared meters) in Rio Grande Port to safely and comfortably store dispatched and received goods. The company has a fleet of 120 trucks and more than 230 rented vehicles from other transporting companies. Today VBR Transportes operates on five continents and more than 100 countries, serving many world economic sectors like tobacco, furniture, meat, wine, leather, cutlery, among others. The company achieved this through its excellent operational structure and qualified professionals. Now VBR has a total of 77 trucks and more than 123 rented vehicles in addition to a terminal (30 thousand squared meters) in Rio Grande Port. VBR’s trucks, as well as the rented trucks, are constantly maintained by the original dealers of the vehicles. The average age of a VBR vehicle is 2 years, after this it is replaced. This guarantees that the customers’ goods will arrive safely in Rio Grande Port. Also, VBR’s drivers feel confident that they are driving safe and well maintained vehicles. VBR is concerned with all the aspects connected to good customer service. The company makes great investments in information technology to guarantee that the data are kept secure and easily accessible. In the month of April 2005, the company conquered the certification of ISO 9001:2000, granted for Bereau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). Respect for the environment is also a part of VBR’s work philosophy. That is why at VBR vehicle emissions are strictly controlled through periodic tests performed by the Sindicato das Empresas de Trasnportes de Cargas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Setcergs).
