D' Market Movers Ltd was established in 2009 by Rachel Renie & David Thomas. It was the first online distribution company of green grocer items throughout Trinidad & Tobago. They focus on farm to table initiatives that secure the freshest, local products and bring them directly to your door. With her core values being centred around health and convenience, Rachel recently launched a line of frozen fruit products to create smoothies, cocktails and desserts under the brand, Farm & Function TT. After launching a year ago, their range of products are being distributed nationwide and regionally. She is focused on adding value to local ingredients grown right here in Trinidad & Tobago. With this passion for local agriculture, Rachel also co-hosts a monthly farm to table event to educate the public on the importance of local agriculture through a farm dining culinary experience called Our Moving Table. Rachel has also recently launched a food design component of her company called MMDesign that specialises in Ideation, E-Commerce Management, Food Packaging and Design for major companies such as Massy Stores, CGA and Pascal's Bakery. She also works with start ups and smaller companies to help them improve their local packaging and design in order to compete on a global scale. With a degree in International Relations and over nine years experience being an agri-preneur, Rachel now mentors at the Youth Business of Trinidad & Tobago to help other burgeoning entrepreneurs while using technology to continuously innovate our local agriculture sector.
