Our mission is to promote the socially inclusive economic development in Bahia, on modern and competitive bases. Assignments Promote the economic development of the State, using all pertinent measures through its direct and indirect administration organs; Promote and execute the supply, storage and marketing of food and basic products policy; Encourage exports of products from Bahia; Coordinate studies and actions aimed at raising the level of productivity, competitiveness and quality of goods and services produced and marketed; Within the scope of its competence and in coordination with other State planning agencies, coordinate the preparation of research, plans, programs and projects aimed at meeting the needs of industry, commerce, services and mining; Promote and implement research, planning and technical assistance activities for industry, commerce, services and mining.
