Rift Valley Mining Company Ltd is a locally owned limited liability company that is planning to establish a Hydrated Lime Plant and Limestone mines in the southern part of Malawi. The company currently holds an approved Mineral Leases and/or Mining Licenses with attendant E.I.As. and E.M.Ps over all its mineralised ground in the Kanyama 1 Village in Nsanje District in Malawi. The area under the exclusive exploration license covers 301 square km and has enough limestone deposits to support a mining rate of 132,000 tons per annum for 25 years.
