The Port of Philadelphia is in the heart of the US Mid-Atlantic population center making it an ideal distribution point for international cargo. Our terminals receive weekly container service from Latin America, including three new services from SeaLand: SeaLand Atlantico, connecting Port Philadelphia with the Mexican ports of Veracruz and Altamira; and the North Atlantic Express and South Atlantic Express, which connect Port Philadelphia with Colombia, Panama, Honduras, and Guatemala. Near-dock rail intermodal facilities provide unsurpassed access throughout the USA and Canada. PRPA’s terminals are within one mile of highways I-95 and I-76. New developments include investment in new and existing terminals, main channel deepening by 2017 to 13.71 meters and the sixth consecutive year of double digit growth. Port of Philadelphia is on the move and is building for the future.
