The plant THE TRAPICHE DE ABRAHAM is located in the municipality of Corinto, North of Cauca. The natural wealth of the land has allowed us to cultivate in them the sugarcane, raw material indispensable for the development of our PANELA OLIVARES BROTHERS, which is the result of an arduous process. Harvesting takes place every 12 or 14 months running the cut and elk are manually. The plant material is transported to the mill winged by tractor. Once the cane has been heavy it is transported to the wagons and unloaded on the table to feed the mill and then follow the extraction of the cane juice. The bagasse (Bagazo) is used as fuel for the boiler. The other juices are used for the clarification process where logs are carried flocculants and alkalizing starts. Relimpia process and evaporation continues. Honey with Brix of about 62 degrees is stored in tanks and cans is lowered to where the endpoint occurs. Honey is down to the rafts where it is cooled and dried particles of all sizes, then it goes through a machine where cooling is completed and select the desired point. Then the packaging presentations of storing up to 25 kilos and expect the loading and final destination. For this we have specialized personnel in the production of sugar cane and, most importantly, our staff is composed mostly of people of the region, people who have sought better living conditions, escape the armed conflict with guerrilla and Colombian army, they achieved this with sources of employment in the area.
