We are a public interest entity thats non-governmental and non-profit. We maintain an equity regime between sugar cane producers (>8,000) & mills (13) that assures each sector a rational and fair participation, for the optimal development and stability of the industry. We are the main sugar supplier for the Costa Rican retail and industrial markets and also export to countries around the world including USA, Europe and the Caribbean. LAICA is certified FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and ISO 17025.
