Kiakia Gas Limited (RC:1226776) is a registered Liability company in Nigeria that was launched in 2016 as a last mile LPG delivery service using technology to deliver LPG (cooking gas) to households in Nigeria, we have expanded our scope to include consulting & Analytics, smart-engineering & manufacturing and B2B bulk distribution. Our Competences Value Chain Development Kiakia Gas Limited is an LPG solutions service provider in Nigeria, with key competencies in LPG consulting, LPG emerging Market Development, Construction of LPG Plants, Bulk Supply, and Retailing of LPG. Our last mile LPG distributor operates in 18 states in Nigeria and has created 23 businesses as of December 2019. Our established workforce consists of a network of 110 Gaspreneurs (retailers) and still growing to take LPG closer to the consumers. Our target is 500 retailers by the end of 2021. This will result in a value-chain capacity that leaves us with the capacity to serve up to 1,000,000 households in the next 5 years (2025) with 2,500 retailers nationwide. This is based on our tested model of 200 households to a retailer per month considering our experience in the market. Our Gasprenuer Scheme is helping to mitigate one of the most important challenges of the downstream LPG industry in Nigeria- logistics bottleneck and shortage of storage infrastructure. We are empowering distribution and retailing across the value-chain in ways that addresses Nigeria’s tardy logistics with a systematic volume risk management approach using well positioned gas plant operations, distribution and retailing across the country. Our model for determining the locational efficiency of gas plant set-up and distribution of LPG across the country is providing immerse leverage in this regard. Market Demand Modelling and Valuation We are the only end-to-end LPG company that has been building capacity internally for the modelling and measurement of demand for LPG as well as understanding consumer behaviour across cities and on the national level in Nigeria. This modelling and valuation efforts are helping us define how to approach various market segments and market entry strategies. Our market analytics and intelligence for the LPG and energy market of Nigeria is opening new opportunities for the company, and for overall market development. Cylinder Manufacturing As part of our strategic agenda to develop the downstream LPG market, early this year, 2020, we are commenced the construction of the largest cylinder manufacturing facility in Nigeria. This is our strategy to facilitate the transition of 1,00,000 non-LPG users in the Nigerian market to LPG users in the next 5 years. Coastal Storage and Ship Loading/Offloading Infrastructure We intend to further deepen our development of the gas market and value chain in Nigeria and West Africa by developing a 13,00MT LPG coastal storage and ship loading/offloading infrastructure for Nigerian & West African markets. Terminal is also designed to feature a scalable Thermal IP, of 500MW power plant, to rely on the abundant natural gas resources around the project location as primary fuel and LPG synthesized at location as the secondary fuel solution. LPG Market Place Technology We understand that reaching the 1,000,000 households will require the enabling support of technology. Therefore, we are building out technologies using Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that allow for the easy of ordering of LPG from across the country through existing retail operators across within the proximity of the households. This technology solution will also enable the provision of real-time information on the usage of LPG in households.
