Established in 1991, Exportaciones Durexporta, S.A. was the first Company to process Ecuadorian mangoes with a Hot Water Treatment, enabling ourselves to export to the United States. One of the great advantages that our Company has is that we grow, process and pack our own Mangoes, keeping a strict eye on quality control as well as on compliance of social and environmental sustainability. Appreciated around the world for its high quality fruits, Durexporta has been able to maintain its position as market leader with 40% of the Ecuadorian export market. During the Mango season, which runs from the end of September up to mid January, Durexporta exports Mangoes to every corner of the world, from Canada to New Zealand and from Chili to Russia. In 2016, we will start to export to China as well. En 2010, Durexporta started to diversify her activities. Today we process, pack and export bananas, plantains and root vegetables to the United States, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the Far East. Apart from this, Durexporta is investing in Research & Development with the aim to add value to our fresh produce over here in Ecuador, semi-processing our fruit for the industry and offering final consumer products such as dehydrated mangoes amongst others. Our main brands are Tropical Line, D´Mango, MOMO´s, De Plata, Lady Morena and Guantanamera, but we also export under private lables, like Chiquita, DOLE, Goodfarmer (China) Sharbatly (Middle east) and FRESKA (the U.S.).
