Epic Queen, the first NGO and non-profit mexican organization that develops programs and initiatives to include women in the technology industry. Jobs in Computer Science are growing at a faster rate than students in computer science majors. The 97% of leadership roles in the tech industry are filled by men in the world but this ratio is even worst in mexico. We created Code parties that is a simple but inspirational session where girls spend 3 hours discovering how technology impacts in their everyday life, play with it and get to know amazing women that are “killing it” using geek and nerdy science. We receive 35-40 girls per session.
