Eco Ola is a Peruvian company specializing in the production of dietary supplements, cosmetic ingredients, and superfoods. All our products carry great social and environmental impact. We offer sustainable economic livelihoods to rural and indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon. Our work seeks to solve the problems of destructive agricultural practices like slash and burn, as well as the reduction of illegal logging of primary and secondary forests. Through agroforestry and permaculture systems that diversify farms, guarantee their productivity and provide ecosystem services, small producers enjoy a sustainable model that generates income in total cooperation with nature. Our inclusive value-added model empowers not only women and single mothers, but entire families, generating better earnings and thus reducing migration to cities in search of opportunities that only separate families. Our healthy products come from healthy forests. Our products are nutrient dense because they come from intact ecosystems. Our products meet the growing demand for healthy products with great flavor that are the key to a healthier lifestyle. Our products rich in essential nutrients such as healthy lipids, fiber, proteins and micronutrients, which are typically lacking in the “western” diet. Our consumers take great satisfaction in knowing they are part of a social and environmental movement. Our products are vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free and GMO-free. Aguaje oil: Aguaje is a tropical fruit native to the Amazon. It is rich in vitamin A or carotenoids as well as phytoestrogens. Aguaje oil contains 70 times more vitamin A than carrots! Aguaje oil is highly valued in skin formulations thanks to its moisturizing and protective properties. It is even a natural sunblock. It is also ideal as a dietary supplement with high levels of vitamin-E and omega-9´s in addition to the high vitamin-A content. Sangre de grado: Known in English as Dragon's blood. Sangre de grado is a reddish resin that comes from the bark of an Amazonian tree. This resin can be used topically or internally to treat stomach problem, ulcers, gastritis, skin infections and helps accelerate the healing of wounds and cuts. Macambo: This delicious snack comes from a close relative of cacao. Toasted Macambo has a mild nutty flavor and is dense in minerals, protein, fiber and omega 9´s. Without a doubt Macambo will be the next hit in superfoods.
