CIANO, since 2007, before its foundation, still as a socioenvironmental project called Projeto AMÁVEL, has carried out numerous studies in order to certify the commercial viability in the exploitation of the fruit of the Palmeira Juçara. mapping pockets of Atlantic Forest where this palm is present and certifying that the fruit of Juçara has the proper nutritional properties for the formation of a safe food for human consumption, recording its results with specific organs. In 2010, with these studies having positive returns, the company was founded and started to develop methods of extracting and using these fruits, bringing the local community and rural farmers as an integral part of the product development chain based on fruits. In 2015, the first products were placed in retail, closing a cycle of economic and sustainable development. The developed method combines species preservation, job generation and legalization of extractors.
