Avecom is organized around two business units, united by one technology: microbial processes.Biomass Fermentation offers process development of waste stream valorisation through mixed microbial fermentation, to produce proteins, biopolymers and macronutrients, among others, targeting food, feed, bioplastic & biofertilizer markets.We scale with you from lab to demo, in our highly equipped facilities, reducing development time and providing a data-backed view of ROI before you start investing in your own infrastructure.Environmental Remediation offers feasibility studies for contaminated water and soil, determining the efficacy of microbial remediation for treatment plant builders & managers as well as soil remediators.Where needed, we offer a limited but highly specialized range of proprietary products to assist in remediation efforts.Both units merge in our Biodegradability activities, where we assist development of and provide certification for biodegradable products.Avecom's expertise, which has been actively expanding through 30 years of applied industry-aimed research, is focused on microbial processes in two key areas: waste stream valorization & remediation.Both in B2B projects for enterprises of all sizes, nationally and internationally, as well as in more than 15 EU funded projects, our lab to demo scale infrastructure and our expert team have developed products, applications and technology at the forefront of effective environmental agency and the quest for a circular bioeconomy.
