Adigital is a Spanish business association that promotes the responsible and sustainable development of the digital economy. It brings together more than 500 companies, ranging from startups and SMEs to large national and international corporations, and works to create the conditions for digital innovation and technology-driven growth. Its activity combines public policy and advocacy, technology and responsible innovation, knowledge and training, and business collaboration. Adigital represents the interests of the digital sector before Spanish and European institutions, contributing to regulatory debates on areas such as artificial intelligence, data, digital platforms, e-commerce, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies. A major area of its work focuses on artificial intelligence and responsible technology. Adigital helps companies understand and adopt AI, anticipate regulatory requirements, assess risks and implement governance and transparency practices. It also participates in national and European discussions around AI regulation and standards and develops practical initiatives, tools and frameworks to help organizations move from regulatory principles to implementation. Adigital also creates communities and working groups in which companies, experts and public institutions can exchange knowledge and develop joint positions and initiatives. Through events, reports, training programs and practical resources, it helps its members understand technological and regulatory change and translate it into business opportunities. In addition, Adigital develops collaborative projects and services aimed at strengthening trust in the digital economy, including initiatives related to responsible AI, digital trust, self-regulation and certification. It also promotes cooperation between Spain, Europe and Latin America through initiatives such as IAméricas, supporting connections between technology ecosystems on both sides of the Atlantic.
