Having an online store can be very beneficial for business. Currently, a large number of e-commerce platforms that facilitate transactions between company and client.

There has been great sofistication reached in e-commerce platforms. they allow for standardization through a visually pleasing and very functional interface for customers, plus easy administration and management for businesses owners.

Thus a platform has two views: one for content management, and one for the store display for users. Both known as: Back-end, and Front-end.

  • The Back-end: It corresponds to management module of the online shop, also called view manager. In this view, business administrator can register the products, set prices, promotions, manage user levels. stats, trends, etc..

In addition, the administrator can review and track inventory. There are some platforms that allow integration with other enterprise systems offered. An example is: : inventory, finance, among others.

  • The Front-end: Corresponds to the virtual store that is displayed on the site, which is also called the user view. In this view, customers interact Check to make purchases in trade through the online store. Here, you can deploy the products, prices and promotions. Users can also register and register to make purchases. 

To access any of the views, you must do it from a web browser, however. in the case of the Administration view or front-end, it requires a username and password. Companies can define roles and profiles for each employee in order to restrict access to certain sections of the Back-end.
