Description
The Republic of Ecuador has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Sustainable Management of Subsoil Resources and Associated Infrastructure program and will use part of the funds to finance consulting services. The operation is EC-L1257 and the loan agreement is 4989/OC-EC-1.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in the design and implementation of a comprehensive training program aimed at 200 public servants linked to the mining sector. The objective is to strengthen their technical and managerial skills in planning, regulation, control and other activities in the sector, improving work performance and compliance with institutional goals.
Firms must accredit experience during the last ten years in the design, organization or execution of diploma or training programs related to the mining or extractive sector, taught synchronously and/or asynchronously through virtual platforms, with a minimum of 200 participants per program. The experience must be supported by contracts, certificates or other supporting documentation.
The selection will be made in accordance with the Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants financed by the IDB. The shortlist will include between five and eight eligible firms. Partnership through Joint Venture or sub-consultancy is permitted, as well as the electronic submission of expressions of interest.
Note: Tender documents and annexes are available in the original language of the country.
