The Republic of Guatemala invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing services for the development of road infrastructure studies, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing invites interested parties to submit their qualifications to carry out pre-investment studies of the section that connects Chitomax, Los Pajales, Beleju and the village of La Cruz. The services include the geometric design and technical road engineering studies necessary for the improvement of the aforementioned routes.

A short list of five (5) to eight (8) firms will be formed. Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures established in the Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank.

Firms from eligible countries may participate, individually or through a joint venture. Firms must demonstrate:

General experience in engineering studies and specific experience in road engineering studies and geometric design.

Legal solidity through a certificate of incorporation and powers of attorney.

Financial capacity through audited financial statements for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, under IAS and IFRS standards.

Expressions of interest, accompanied by the letter signed by the legal representative and the firm's resume, must be sent in writing or delivered in hard copy.
