Description
The Republic of Guatemala has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Sustainable Forest Management Project" and will allocate part of these funds to the contracting of consulting services.
The National Forest Institute invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in carrying out the comprehensive diagnosis, design and implementation of a SaaS type computer solution. The service includes the optimization of at least 25 institutional processes, the definition of functional and technical requirements, the development of management software and a capacity-building program with a focus on cultural relevance and gender.
A short list of six (6) eligible firms will be formed. The consultants will be selected under the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (SBCC) method, in accordance with the Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank.
Firms from eligible countries may participate; Joint Venture or sub-consulting is permitted. Interested firms must demonstrate expertise in:
Institutional strengthening and change management.
Simplification and harmonization of processes in public or private entities.
Implementation of ERP, GRP or SaaS management systems.
I work with the forestry or environmental sector, preferably in Central America.
Audit and mapping of processes under ISO standards.
Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing or in printed form, including the firm's profile, evidence of relevant experience, and audited financial statements for the years 2023 and 2024.
