Updated Tender - Acquisition and distribution of cancer, kidney and Unified Health System medicines at the national level

Bolivia, through the Ministry of Health, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the program "Support for Vulnerable Populations Affected by Coronavirus II". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the supply and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies nationwide.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition and national distribution of specialized medicines for oncology treatments, kidney health and care in the Unified Health System (SUS).

Required products: Includes inputs such as Abiraterone Acetate, Acyclovir, Valproic Acid or Sodium Valproate, Zoledronic Acid, Human Albumin and Amiodarone (hydrochloride), among others specified in the specifications.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework and method: The process is carried out in accordance with the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods (LPI), being evaluated under the Most Advantageous Bid method.

Evaluation criteria: Compliance with legal requirements, financial capacity and proven experience in the supply and logistics of pharmaceutical supplies.

Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Required guarantee: It is mandatory to accompany the proposal with the Statement of Maintenance of the Offer.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the bases: The bidding documents in Spanish can be requested via email to the program's procurement unit or consulted on the official SICOES website.

Delivery method: Bids must be submitted physically and in a sealed envelope at the offices indicated in La Paz. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late shipments will be rejected. The act of public opening of envelopes will be carried out with the option of face-to-face or online attendance.
