Update and technical improvement of the self-diagnosis tool "fAIr LAC 3S" for the self-assessment of the responsible use of AI in startups and SMEs

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is looking to hire a consulting firm for the technical evolution of its digital ethical self-assessment platform. The project seeks to transform the current tool (based on Drupal) into an essential resource to promote responsible Artificial Intelligence practices in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Latin America and the Caribbean.

1. Technical Evolution and Generative AI
The consultancy focuses on the update of version 2.0 of fAIr LAC 3S, integrating advanced capabilities:

Generative AI: Incorporation of a component for the automated generation of personalized recommendations, based on the accumulated knowledge of fAIr LAC.

Alignment Profiles: Creation of specific profiles for companies based on their responses, allowing detailed monitoring of their ethical maturity.

Strengthened Architecture: Design of a scalable product structure, with adequate security measures and comprehensive improvement of the user experience (UX/UI).

2. Implementation and Support
The service covers the entire development lifecycle:

Pilot Test: Running a pilot with real companies for one month to capture and incorporate technical and functional feedback.

Deployment and Maintenance: Move to production and technical support guaranteed for 12 months to ensure the stability of the platform.

Documentation: Delivery of operation and maintenance manuals for administrators and users of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

3. Requirements for Expression of Interest (EOI)
Interested companies must demonstrate:

Verifiable Experience: Evidence of similar services in the development of digital platforms, self-diagnosis tools and AI solutions.

Technical Capacity: Availability of qualified personnel in web technologies (Drupal, AI frameworks) and design of effective user journeys.

Organizational Structure: Information about the history, mission and operational capacity of the consulting firm.
